A catalyst for the revitalisation of Larnaka and the broader region, Land of Tomorrow will rejuvenate the project site to positively impact the environment and the seaside community of Larnaka as a whole. Transforming the Larnaka seafront into a hub of sustainability, the project will incorporate green open spaces, strict environmental design principles, vernacular architecture, and accessible infrastructure to upgrade and revive every inch of land within this holistic new haven.
EFFICIENCY
With all eyes on a low-carbon future and minimal environmental impact, the Land of Tomorrow project team will focus on long-term efficiency in every aspect of the project development. The mixed-use community sets the scene for better days to come with the use of passive design that works with the local climate, renewable energy, and low-carbon materials while prioritising sustainable consumption and minimal waste.
IMMERSED IN NATURE
Green spaces will encourage a reconnection with nature and provide a range of cultural and recreational opportunities for the city. Enhanced natural areas throughout the Land of Tomorrow masterplan will create vital habitats for various plant and animal species.
A new pine forest will bring nature back to the industrial land, serving as a natural cooling and shading device, building ecological bridges, and linking with the city’s wider ecosystems. What’s more, spaces for social connection, comfort, and endless outdoor activities will further improve the area of the project site, prioritising a life well lived in an immersive landscape dedicated to wellness and wellbeing.
